Sachtopore® HPLC Columns
Sachtopore®-RP and Sachtopore®-NP

Sachtleben Chemie GmbH (Duisburg, Germany) and ZirChrom Separations introduce two new titania-based stationary phases for HPLC:

  • Sachtopore®-RP - a polymer-coated reversed-phase titania
  • Sachtopore®-NP - a titania-based normal phase1  

These new phases offer the increased thermal and chemical stability traditionally associated with zirconia-based phases.  In addition, the Sachtopore® particle is highly versatile; allowing modification of both particle and pore size.  HPLC columns packed with these next generation particles are offered in both analytical and preparative formats, containing a wide selection of particle (3, 5, 10, 20, 40 and 80 micron) and pore (60, 100, 300, 1000 and 2000 angstrom) sizes. 

Sachtleben Chemie brings a long- standing tradition of excellence to the chromatography market as well as the capability to produce large quantities of particles very reproducibly. These new titania-based packings offer the chromatographer a very rugged alternative to silica for both analytical and preparative-scale separations.

Sachtopore®-RP and Sachtopore®-NP are available in a wide range of particle and pore size combinations. Please specify both particle and pore size when ordering. ZirChrom's patented carbon coating process may also be applied to the Sachtopore-NP particles upon request (i.e. Sachtopore®-CARB).  All Sachtopore materials are available in microbore, standard analytical, semi-preparative and preparative column formats.
