Zirconia & Titania Micro Gel-Loader Tip

Glygen offers a new Micro Gel-Loader Tip Column in two formats: coated on the inner Wall (Gel-Loader NuTip^TM), & mini- column containing chromatographic media filled as mini column  (Gel-Loader TopTip^TM).

 Gel-Loader NuTip:

In the gel-loader pipette tips, a small portion of the capillary area contains chromatographic media embedded on the inner wall of the capillary. The sample solution can flow without any resistance. Therefore, a small volume of the solution can be aspirated/ expelled many times to achieve a higher binding of the molecules of interest. After washing the peptides, these can be eluted in a very concentrated form (volume of100nl or less). The Gel-Loader NuTip can be used to transfer the purified peptides in the off-line nano spray needles or can be spotted on a MALDI Target.

   Gel-Loader TopTip:
The Gel-Loader TopTip has a small slit that is created by a patent pending technology so that the fluid can flow through but not the chromatographic media. This Gel-Loader TopTip can be used to form a micro-column in the Gel-Loader Tip. Glygen also offers columns of 1ul bed volume with different chromatographic media. The peptides can be eluted in a very concentrated form (volume of 50nl). These tips come with the centrifuge adaptor to prepare multiple samples by using micro centrifuge.
Glygen has developed a MALDI adaptor for Gel-loader TopTip (MALDI-PEN^TM) for the Tips (see details in figure), by using this adaptor, the peptides can be eluted in small fractions of as low as few nano-liters to micro-liters.
